Aimee has a passion for hiking, biking, singing, dancing, and traveling to unique destinations. Her interests also include enjoying coffee, photography, plant care, and connecting with people.
Growing up in Salmon Arm, she spent her early years working at her parents' campground, Pierre’s Point. Her experience sparked a deep appreciation for outdoor work and the satisfaction of hard, manual labor.
Aimee’s journey continued with studying business in college, landscaping in Vancouver, coordinating events at the Calgary Stampede, and an eight-year career as a flight attendant with WestJet. In 2020, Aimee faced a career pivot after being laid off due to the pandemic.
In 2021, she embraced a new chapter, completing the Horticulture Technician Certification through Camosun College. With this, she turned her passion for gardening into a career.
Aimee is particularly proud of receiving the BC Council of Garden Clubs award and bursary through Camosun College, recognizing her dedication and achievements in horticulture.
